The city’s big infrastructure project for this year is already behind schedule.
A $1.7 million project to replace water and sewer lines along Sixth Avenue from Argyle to Bruce should have started by now, but is still in the design and planning stage according to Mayor Mike Ruttan.
Ruttan said the city has contracted the engineering firm of Koers and Associates to plan the project, and the city is looking to hire a Streets and Construction Superintendent to guide this, and all future projects.
