Some of those promises were reiterated in the throne speech last Friday, including a boost in education funding, increases to welfare and disability rates, and the elimination of tolls for two bridges in the Lower Mainland.
Public accounts figures released last month indicate the province finished the past fiscal year with a 2.7-billion dollar surplus.
