Wayne Coulson is hopeful a provincial NDP Government will put his firefighting crews back to work in BC.
He says a rocky relationship with members of the BC Liberal’s cabinet forced Coulson Aviation to actively pursue work in other countries, but he’s more than willing to help fight forest fires here at home.
Coulson says the company is now international with operations in Australia, and conversions being done under U.S. licencing at their remote base in Port Alberni.
Coulson Aviation just sent two helicopters and their crews down to Oregon to prepare for firefighting there, and have planes working in Colorado and Washington State right now.
