No one was injured after another fire at the notorious 4th Ave trailer park.
The fire broke out at 3:40 am Saturday and fire crews were able to contain it to the trailer of origin, which burned to the ground.
Four people were displaced by the fire and were taken into care by emergency services.
This is the third such fire in 2 years.
The Port Alberni Friendship Centre, City of Port Alberni and BC Housing had plans to build 30 tiny homes and move people from the trailers into safer accomodations, but that hasn’t happened yet.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
