Two suspected drug dealers pled guilty to lesser charges and were released yesterday.
43-year old Corey Waskul and 46-year old John Walker were both charged with trafficking in fentanyl in separate incidents, but pled down to simple possession charges.
Judge Wolf referred to fentanyl dealers as “merchants of death” and said people caught selling the dangerous drugs face jail sentences of anywhere from 18 to 36 months, even if it’s their first offense.
He sentenced them each to a day in jail for possession of a controlled substance.
