Specialized ground-penetrating radar systems will be at work today at the former Alberni Indian Residential School site.
The work follows the discovery of unmarked graves at other residential school sites in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan
The Tseshaht First Nation is asking people to stay away from the area while the culturally-sensitive work begins.
Elders and trained counsellors will be nearby to assist survivors and those affected by the work.
