The 61-year old Port Alberni mother accused of killing her son on August 29th in their 18th Avenue home, was freed from jail yesterday.
Samantha Jesselynn Dittmer is charged with manslaughter using a firearm in the death of 37-year old Jesse McPhee.
Details of the case presented at the bail hearing are protected by a publication ban, but Judge Alexander Wolf agreed to free Dittmer on $10,000 bail and multiple conditions.
The case returns to court on October 20th.
