We’re learning more about a shooting that claimed the life of a man on Sunday in his 18th Avenue home.
Neighbours say the home is owned by Samantha Dittmer, who they say lived in the residence with Jesse McPhee, her adult son and his girlfriend.
They had moved here from the mainland in March 2019.
Yesterday, police received a search warrant and began scouring the upstairs area for evidence.
Two dogs belonging to the family were taken away by the SPCA.
It is believed charges against Dittmer are being considered by crown counsel for the death of her son.
