The Bulldogs earned a 3-2 overtime victory last night on home ice over the Surrey Eagles to trail the BCHL’s Coastal Conference Final 2 games to 1. Hayden Stavroff scored twice including the overtime winner, while Jacob Terpstra added a single. Callum Tung was named first star with the win in net, as the Bulldogs were out shot 56-43. It was the third straight one-goal game in the series, and second consecutive overtime decision.
The Bulldogs host the Eagles for game four tonight. Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on The Peak is on the air for our pregame show at 6:45, with the play-by-play to follow at 7:00.

The U15/U17 Alberni Valley Blazers Mother’s Day Weekend softball tournament goes this weekend at the Echo Minor Fields. Action begins on Friday night, and goes all day through Saturday into the Medal games on Sunday.
15 teams are in town competing. There will be Food trucks, raffles, 50/50 and more
The Oceanside Sharks host the Cowichan Thunder in Lacrosse action Saturday night at 6:00pm. Admission is $5 for Adults, $3 for Students and Seniors and Kids under 12 are free.
