Council is continuing to look at city entrance signs.
Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce manager Bill Collette has been leading efforts to move forward, and while the Chamber has submitted initial design ideas, it was another design submitted by Susan Roth that attracted council’s attention.
Six different designs were submitted after a call to artists went out in the fall.
The city has committed a budget of $25,000 for the sign project.
