The Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted an online all-candidates meeting last night.
The two hour event suffered some glitches at the start but candidates were still able to get their ideas out and push party platforms.
Housing, Forestry, LNG and MCFD funding, salmon management and Bulldogs hockey support were some of the main topics discussed.
Earlier in the day, BC Liberal candidate Helen Poon promised to donate her salary to local charities if elected.
NDP candidate Josie Osborne committed to being present in the riding, and work closely with local governments, First Nations, businesses and community organizations.
Chamber executive director Bill Collette said more than 60 people registered to watch through ZOOM, while many others watched on Facebook.
