School is still out for hundreds of Alberni students as school district officials struggle to find ways of teaching during the pandemic.
In a letter to parents sent out this week, School District 70 superintendent Greg Smyth said access to computer technology varies from community to community and from home to home.
He said teachers are trying to meet students and parents “where they’re at” and do what works best for each student and family.
He said they’ll make the best and most appropriate use of technology, and says all students should have some learning materials this week.
