Baader back in jail



A 31-year old Port Alberni man with a chronic methamphetamine addiction, was sentenced to a year in jail yesterday for barging into a woman’s home.
Kyle Baader was originally charged with B&E but pled down to forcible entry after entering a townhouse on Argyle Way, frightening a woman who was home with her young children.
Baader had been out of jail just 5 days after serving a 6-month sentence for B&E, and has an extensive record of violence and property crimes.
He’ll be on probation for 18 months after his release.
In other court news yesterday, 27-year old Dillon Chester was given a 4 month sentence for using identity documents that weren’t his, 43-year old Gerald Dargatz received 3 months for being in posession of a stolen toolbox and tools, and 20-year old Brandon Gough was freed after 106 days in jail for his role in breaking into one of the fall fair barns and stealing a weedeater and gas.
