Port Alberni RCMP are concerned about an elderly woman who hasn’t been seen since Monday.
77-year old Maureen Mcclean called 9-1-1 at 5:30 in the afternoon with medical issues, but was not at her home near 10th and Wallace when paramedics arrived, according to Port Alberni RCMP Sargeant Peter Dionne.
“She’s approximately 5’5″, 180 lbs., grey and white hair, last seen wearing a black knee-length fur coat and dark slacks,” he said. “She’s quite a mobile person and it’s out of concern for her that we’re asking the public’s assistance to locate her and confirm her well being.”
Dionne said she often wears a purse across her chest and walks with a cane with 4 feet on it.
