City Council continues to consider cannabis shops.
Retail cannabis stores have been approved for Pacific Rim Mall, and in the Alberni Inn on Redford at Wood, now two more shops have applied for city permission to proceed.
West Coast Hemp on Lower 3rd Avenue wants to become the Port Pot Shop, while Hive Cannabis is hoping to open on Redford near 10th beside IRIS optical.
Both applications have letters from neighbours opposing the stores, and council will debate whether to approve them to the province.
The council meeting starts at 2 pm on Monday.
