City Council has asked staff to draft a request for proposals for the Harbourview lands.
The controversial city properties have once again garnered the attention of developers, and city council says they’re open to proposals.
Mayor Sharie Minions said the Tseshaht First Nation had indicated historical interest in the property, and the two councils have been discussing the issue.
The city looked at developing their high-profile property up from Harbour Quay in 2013 but public outcry took the plans off the table.
