ICBC crash statistics were released yesterday, and Stamp and Roger remain Alberni’s most dangerous intersection.
There were 19 crashes there in 2017, compared with 12 at Johnson and Gertrude and 11 at Johnson and Cherry Creek Road.
Half of the crashes resulted in injuries.
The three most dangerous intersections on the island were all in Saanich, with others in Victoria and Nanaimo filling out the top ten.
Total crashes were up by 4.5% in 2017 to 46,000 on the island and 230,000 for all of BC.
