The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure announced one more all-day closure of Highway 4 at Angel Rock before fully re-opeing the road.
The road will be closed from 9am to 5pm tomorrow, and not have the usual mid-day flush.
Since the highway was first closed, crews have removed around 200 danger trees and 1,000 tonnes of rock-scaling debris.
Work left to be done includes installing the last half of 1.4 kilometres of barrier and catchment fencing, bolting rocks to secure the bluffs and finishing pavement patching, line marking and sign installation, according to officials.
The long-awaited full reopening of Highway 4 is expected to come before the Labour Day long weekend
The forestry road detour route will remain open until then.
