A former Port Alberni nurse was stripped of his nursing licence for five years after engaging in sexual misconduct with a vulnerable psychiatric patient.
Aaron Forrester, a former licenced practical nurse has voluntarily agreed to the cancellation of his nursing registration.
An inquiry by the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives concluded Forrester engaged in sexual misconduct against a the patient from November 2019 to May of 2020.
The discipline notice said the patient was repeatedly re-admitted to hospital on a voluntary and involuntary basis.
Forrester has agreed not to reapply for his licence for five years.
