Man found dead in truck

A man was discovered dead after a suspicious incident on Highway 4 Monday night.

The call originally came in as a single vehicle accident, but when emergency crews arrived, there were no obvious signs of a collision.

A pick-up truck was spotted stuck in the snow on the westbound side of Highway 4, between Taylor Flats and Sutton Pass.

According to an RCMP Press Release sent out Tuesday afternoon: “upon attendance first responders located the driver, who was uninjured and an adult man deceased inside the vehicle. The cause of death is under investigation but is not believed to be related to the collision.”
