A 42-year old Port Alberni man will spend the next ten years in prison for sexually assaulting two children hundreds of times over a seven year period.
Benjamin Knoblauch was charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference of a person under the age of 16.
In a pre-sentencing report, psychologists diagnosed him with paedophile disorder and said he was a high-risk to reoffend.
Judge Ronald Lamperson said the children suffered terrible abuse day-in and day-out for seven years which has resulted in very very tragic consequences.
