The effect of yesterday’s snow storm still lingers as all Schools are closed today and school buses are not running.
Major routes around the city are mostly clear and crews are working on side streets now according to streets chargehand Dave Heiman (high-man).
“We’re doing the best we can with what we have,” he said. “We had our staff out last night doing a double shift and they were replaced at 5 this morning and now our crews are working on 3rd Avenue, trying to get the bus routes opened up now.”
Heiman said crews were out on Monday brining local roads, preparing for the snowstorm.
