Cherry Creek voters are heading back to the polls after their recent election was ruled invalid by the BC Supreme Court.
A recount was required after just 4 votes separated the two candidates: Mike Sparrow and Darren Deluca.
Court involvement was then required after a review of voter registration forms showed some were not filled in correctly, which could affect the results of the race.
As a result, nominations are now open for the by-election which will be held by early March of next year.
This is the second election in a row where Cherry Creek has been faced with a byelection due to voting irregularities.
