Alberni – Clayoquot Regional District directors were sworn in yesterday, starting a new 4-year term.
Huu-ay-aht’s John Jack was re-elected as chair unanimously, while Port Alberni city councillor Deb Haggard won vice-chair position over Sproat Lake’s long-time director Penny Cote.
Jack noted the gender equality of the new board, with 7 women and 7 men.
