After 10 months of investigation, Port Alberni RCMP have charged a 16-year old male for the murder of Clifton Johnston in March of last year.
The 20-year old Johnston was discovered lying on the sidewalk in front of the Port Alberni Friendship Centre early in the morning, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest.
The accused can’t be identified because of his age.
Police did not say when he will next appear in court.
