NextRide technology is being installed on Port Alberni buses next month.
BC Transit’s Stephen Anderson says, users will be able to track their buses in real-time by early March.
“There’s 19 transit systems that will be receiving this across the province and for Port Alberni we’re looking to install the system in February, and customers will be able to use the Transit App in March,” he said.
Tech will also enable users to check their transit app to see how full the bus is.
