A road rage incident has put a 51-year old Port Alberni man on probation for the next year.
Dwayne Walker was ordered to undergo counselling after threatening to cut the head off of a driver he felt had cut him off on February 7th last year.
Walker’s lawyer admitted the “interaction was stupid and threatening”
The construction worker was given a conditional discharge, which means if he has no further interactions with the criminal justice system for the next 12 months, he will not have a criminal record.

Ronald Meyers was given a thousand dollar fine and a one-year driving ban after pleading guilty to dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Multiple motorists said they saw a dark grey dodge dakota swerving wildly on Compton Road, almost hitting two other oncoming cars before colliding head on with a vehicle at the Indian Avenue intersection.
Meyers emerged briefly from his truck, only to get back inside and drive away, leaving the elderly couple he had hit, stuck in their car.
Police later found his vehicle parked outside his home and arrested him.

69-year old Terrence Hession was sentenced to 6 months jail yesterday after pleading guilty to assaulting a female friend.
An admitted drug and alcohol addict, Hession said he doesn’t remember hitting the woman he was partying with.
He has a history of violence, and was initially charged with aggravated assault, but plead guilty to the lesser charge of assault causing bodily harm
