A milestone for Port Alberni’s Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences – they held their first convocation on Monday, awarding their first Bachelor of Disability Management Degree.
Shanna Ramm enrolled in the degree program in 2015 and was able to complete the program while living in Saskatchewan, working full time as a senior disability and wellness specialist for Mosaic Inc.
The Bachelor of Disability Management is the first and only degree of its kind, and key to a career in government and corporate return-to-work programs.
