A woman jogging on a trail between the Port Alberni SPCA and Canadian Tire was assaulted last week.
The woman was able to fight off the attacker, and had the presence of mind to record video of him as he walked away.
Port Alberni RCMP officers and the K9 unit responded immediately, identified the suspect from the video and arrested him.
The woman was not seriously injured. Police are asking any witnesses of the May 29th attack to come forward
