3rd Ave Recycling Depot is closed until further notice.

Alternative Recycling Locations:

Alberni Valley Landfill – 7080 McCoy Lake Rd.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday – 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Closed Statutory Holidays

• Recycle BC Materials (Packaging & Printed Paper Products, Glass & Other Plastic Packaging)
• Metal
• Antifreeze/oil
• Batteries – Automotive & Household
• Cell Phones

The Bottle Depot – 3533 4th Ave.
Hours: Monday to Saturday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Closed on Sunday

• Electronics
• Computer Equipment
• Cassette Tapes, VHS Tapes, CD’s, Floppy Disks, etc.
• Flammable Liquids
• Paint
• Domestic Pesticides

Canadian Tire – 3550 Johnston Rd.
Hours: Monday to Saturday – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
