RCMP vehicles were involved in two crashes this weekend.
On Saturday, an officer spotted a vehicle without licence plates driving down 10th Avenue and attempted to pull the vehicle over.
The driver sped away at high speed and the officer called off the pursuit so as not to endanger others on the road, but the car was still going too fast to make a left turn down Roger, and crashed into a retaining wall.
The 29-year old driver fled but was soon captured and faces multiple charges.
Early Sunday morning an officer was responding to a call and lost control of their cruiser, hitting a street sign, a bush and a parked car that was pushed into another parked car at 10th and Bruce.
No one was injured in the crash and police say they won’t be releasing any other details.
