Stonehouse accused of thefts



A 28-year old Port Alberni man remains in jail after being caught with items stolen from cars and Echo Centre lockers.
Roger Stonehouse will appear in court tomorrow after being arrested on November 7th, accused of at least seven different cases of thefts, fruadulent use of credit cards, and B&E’s between October 1st and November 6th.
Port Alberni RCMP Media Relations officer Corporal Amelia Hayden said in a press release that members from General Duty and the Crime Reduction Unit have been working hard to investigate these crimes and identify those responsible.
If you have been the recent victim of a theft from vehicle or a theft from the lockers at Echo Centre which has not been reported, the Port Alberni RCMP is requesting that you contact them and provide details.
