Green Party leader Elizabeth May was in the mid-island region yesterday, helping Paul Manly campaign for the Nanaimo – Ladysmith seat.
The by-election was made necessary when NDP MP Sheila Malcolmson resigned to run in the provincial by-election in Nanaimo, which was caused by MLA Leanord Krog resigning after being elected Mayor of Nanaimo.
