The Bread of Life is making a plea for cash donations.
Board chair Rosalyn Chapman says food donations have been strong as usual for this time of year, but they’re facing a $20,000 budget shortfall that could see them reduce service from 7 days a week back down to 5.
“We certainly hope we don’t have to do that because people are hungry on the weekend too,” she said.
Chapman says the Bread of Life Society relies on the community for funding, and board members will be on site from 2-4 pm today to answer questions.
