A 21-year old Port Alberni man charged with serious sex offenses, was sentenced to a year in jail.
Prosecutors called Russell David a predator, for trading drugs for sex with vulnerable, high risk youth.
Crown Counsel Gordon Baines said David’s 15-year old victim is well-known to the courts, and she needs to be kept away from such men.
David was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under 16, and making child pornography.
He’ll be on probation for 2-years after his release.
