UPDATE:
The McLean Mill Society Board has gone off the rails with a flurry of resignations this weekend.
Book-keeper Susan Roth resigned from her position with both the McLean Mill Society and the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce after she requested an audit of mill finances.
She said she couldn’t stand by the financial reports she was being asked to produce, so she quit.
Bill Collette announced his resignation from the McLean Mill Society Board on Wednesday, and Sheena Falconer was appointed interim president.
She says the financial issues are about process, and there are no concerns about missing funds.
Falconer said MMS book-keeping has been handed over to R Anderson and Associates for the balance of the year, and she expects to have a full-report before city council at their August 13th meeting.
Falconer says a full audit is planned for 2019.
