With only one week until demolition deadline, Arrowview Hotel owner Raymond Latourneau is once again asking city council for more time.
Council passed a motion at their last meeting demanding the building be torn down within 30 days, but Latourneau submitted a letter to council yesterday saying he has contacted engineers and architects about saving the structure.
He said he didn’t want to make excuses, but blamed financing problems and a sick mother for the delays.
Council will consider the issue at their meeting on Monday.
