A 26-year old has 2 years to repay $14,000 he defrauded from a pair of local banks.
Dillon Chester pled guilty to defrauding the Coastal Credit Union and CIBC after he deposited cheques that weren’t his.
He also admitted to assault after intentionally pouring boiling water over the arm of a 15-year old boy.
Chester was arrested on December 6th and released last week after 146 days time-served.
He said he plans to go to work on fishing boats to earn the money to repay his debt.
