The ADSS lands on Burde Street have been sold.
Local realtor Darren Deluca said the as-yet-to-be-named group has purchased the 23 acre lot for $1.8 million
Deluca said the developer is out of Vancouver but has links to Port Alberni and has done work here in the past.
He estimates the 2-5 year phased development will include single-family and multifamily units along with the possibility of seniors housing projects, and when complete could represent upwards of $500 million of investment in the city.
