ACRD Finances released



The Alberni – Clayoquot Regional District released their Statement of Financial Information yesterday.

The ACRD brought in more than $12 million last year, $5.6 million from direct taxes and $3.6 million from sales of services.

They spent $9.5 million last year, leaving a surplus of $3.1 million.

Of the ACRD Directors, Sproat Lake’s Penny Cote earned the most for a third year in a row, charging more than $31,000 for remuneration and expenses.

She said the amount reflects the variety of committees she’s a part of and meetings she attends

Tony Bennett, the ACRD Director from Long Beach earned the second largest amount for the third year in a row at $26,000
