Cathedral Grove parking is about to become a political powderkeg again.
The province is hosting public information sessions next week as they launch another pedestrian and traffic safety study for the popular park.
Chamber of Commerce volunteer ambassadors report daily complaints through the summer about the lack of parking for the thousands of people trying to stop at the park each day, and have witnessed countless close calls as pedestrians mix with highway traffic.
A public session will be held at the Port Alberni Friendship Centre on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm, and a second session in Parksville the following day.
