The city unveiled a new feature at city hall, designed to provide greater accessibility to city services.
Mayor Mike Ruttan officially opened a new elevator that will link all three levels of city hall for people with mobility issues.
Ruttan said in the past, people with mobility issues would often have to wait for staff to open a locked door in order to access specific services.
The elevator cost $150,000 with a third coming from the Province, and the city funding the remaining two-thirds from the Land Sale Reserve fund.
