Mid-Island / Pacific Rim MLA Scott Fraser is finally happy about a throne speech, now that he occupies a seat on the government side of the house after ten years in office.
Fraser said Friday’s throne speech provides a roadmap the NDP will use to make BC a better province.
First Nations issues featured prominently in Friday’s throne speech, and Fraser said after 10 years of criticizing the Liberal Government for inaction, he’s looking forward to bringing about positive change for First Nations communities in BC.
Fraser will be in Port Alberni Saturday for the Fall Fair then will return to Victoria on Sunday to prepare for the NDP government’s first budget update.
