Tourist Train operations are back on track, as repairs have been given the green light by the BC Safety Authority.
McLean Mill executive director Deanna Beadoin says full operations will begin in a week.
She said some final tie replacement is being done on one of the bridges, so the 45-ton diesel locomotive will pull the load until the bridge is cleared for the 90-ton Baldwin Steam Engine.
Beadoin says they’ve made a large investment in exceeding requirements.
Trains will start running next Friday and a full weekend of events is planned to kick off the summer season.
